About Cyberwise
The UCD Centre for Cyber Resilience Education is a leading force in developing comprehensive and accessible cyber-resilience education. Building on our successful pilot programs, like the Cyberwise junior cycle short course, we are expanding our efforts to reach learners across all levels of education in Ireland and beyond.
Our aim is to build a future where everyone is equipped to thrive in the digital age, confident in their ability to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the online world.

Projects and Knowledge Sharing Days
Explore some of our projects below.
Our project aims to infuse science with the arts and humanities, utilising Philosophy for Children (P4C) and Storytelling to develop a growth mindset and critical thinking. By establishing an emotional connection with women leaders in computer science and cybersecurity, we will provide role models who ignite ambition in girls.
The Cyberwise Shared Learning Day was a comprehensive educational event focused on the intersection of cybersecurity and Global Citizenship Education (GCE). Held in April 2024, the day featured a variety of engaging activities, including a Zero
Days Capture the Flag challenge, where participants tackled real-world cyber and GCE issues.
The Challenge-Based Learning Day, held in October 2023, immersed students in the critical societal issue of cybersecurity and its connection to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This event aimed to deepen student’s; understanding of cybersecurity’s impact on various aspects of life and its essential role in achieving sustainable development.
